• October 2016: We are made of honor and best man at our best friends' wedding in McAllen, TX and meet for the first time. 

• October 2019: Three years later, Karina slides into Michael's DM's and he takes her to Disneyworld... Jump to July 2020 they decided to move in together in Melbourne, FL, and then COVID happens... they survive! their relationship we mean.

• October 2023: We decide to go to Florida for our 4-year anniversary... and a rocket launch. Michael decides to surprise Karina with a very shiny heart-shaped diamond ring, she says YES! 

• October 2024: After 5 years together, they decide to get married in Las Vegas with close family and friends to share this special moment. 

♣️Historia de Amor

• Octubre 2016: Estamos hechos de honor y padrino en la boda de nuestros mejores amigos en McAllen, TX y nos conocimos por la primera vez. 

• Octubre 2019: Tres años después, Karina se desliza en los DM de Michael y él la lleva a Disneyworld... Salta a Julio de 2020, deciden mudarse juntos a Melbourne, FL y luego sucede COVID ... ¡Sobreviven! nos referimos a su relación.

• Octubre 2023: Decidimos ir a Florida para nuestro 4o aniversario... y el lanzamiento de un cohete. Michael decide sorprender a Karina con un anillo de diamantes en forma de corazón muy brillante, dice ¡SÍ! 

• Octubre 2024: Despues de 5 años juntos, deciden casarse en Las Vegas con familiares y amigos cercanos para compartir este momento especial. 

♠️The Proposal

On October 8, 2024 around 11:30pm, we go to watch a "Rocket Launch" for the Falcon Heavy rocket with the Psyche spacecraft launching from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. After 30 minutes, the launch gets scrubbed. It is now around midnight and very very dark, we start reminiscing about our Florida adventures. We then start to drink a bubbly and start to get ready to head back to the Hotel when Michael decides... to get down on one knee and... we can't remember the rest... but she said YES! We sit down because Karina can't feel her legs from the surprise that just happened. After another thirty minutes, we start heading back to the Hotel and Michael cannot find his cellphone or his wallet. We walk back to where we thought we were.. in the dark. We look in the trash can, Michael starts gagging, he pulls out a bag and finds his cell phone. Where is his wallet? who knows! we spend another 2 hours on the dark beach looking for this wallet... it is still lost, but he has now found his true love.

♣️La Propuesta

El 8 de octubre de 2024, alrededor de las 11:30 de la noche, asistiremos a ver un "lanzamiento de cohete" del cohete Falcon Heavy con la nave espacial Psyche despegando desde el Centro Espacial Kennedy de la NASA en Cabo Cañaveral, Florida. Después de 30 minutos, el lanzamiento se borra. Ya es alrededor de medianoche y está muy, muy oscuro, comenzamos a recordar nuestras aventuras en Florida. Luego comenzamos a beber un champán y comenzamos a prepararnos para regresar al hotel cuando Michael decide... arrodillarse y... no podemos recordar el resto... ¡pero ella dijo SÍ! Nos sentamos porque Karina no siente las piernas por la sorpresa que acaba de pasar. Después de otros treinta minutos, emprendemos el regreso al hotel y Michael no encuentra su móvil ni su cartera. Caminamos de regreso a donde pensábamos que estábamos... en la oscuridad. Buscamos en el bote de basura, Michael comienza a tener arcadas, saca una bolsa y encuentra su celular. ¿Dónde está su billetera? ¡quién sabe! Pasamos otras 2 horas en la playa oscura buscando esta billetera... todavía está perdida, pero ahora ha encontrado a su verdadero amor.
